[cool][#800000][size 2]Corona Lake produces 18 and 15 1/2 pounders for one angler Louis Ramirez of Colton landed rainbow trout at 18 and 15 1/2 pounds last Friday while fishing at Corona Lake. The two fish gave him the week's heaviest stringer and the two biggest fish caught at Corona for the week.

Murad Tolbert, Corona, also had a 15 1/2-pounder fishing a lure at mid-lake, while a 14 1/2-pound rainbow was landed by Vince Morales, El Monte, on chartreuse Crave Nitro Dough at the dam.

A good number of steelhead have been caught since the plant last week, and the lake will get another stocking of both steelhead and trophy rainbows this week.

Corona Lake is open seven days a week with fishing allowed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on day passes, or from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on an evening pass. Each $18 pass has a five-fish limit. There will be 24-hour fishing one weekend a month nearest the full moon.
