Bird Refuge 7/27
#1
Not much of a report, but I'll post anyways. Tried to see if the warm weather had the cats active at night on the Bear River. Fished at a new spot to me, however it looked to be well used, from 630- 3. Lots of surface carp activity. Had a few interested hits, but nothing solid. Tried frozen carp and crawlers. 1 positive is I got some more much needed practice casting my levelwind reel. Almost ratnest free.

Thanks for the report. Sorry to hear the fishing wasn't that great.

No good catching wise, but still a good trip. I was able to watch the fireworks from what looked like Tremonton. Also saw numerous shooting stars, kind of surprising to see so many. Slowly gaining experience each trip. 4th trip felt much better than the first. The fish will come soon enough.

Still present, but significantly less than my previous trips out there this year. Only had a few buzzin my ears and nose.
