Wow, nice big brook trout, thanks for sharing the video with us. Not sure where that river is but is it safe to say it's not in Idaho[:/]?
Is the reason you have your rod tip in the water, to get the lure deeper?

The river is in Manitoba, Canada and yeah I put the rod tip down to get it down deeper because the current is too fast

I've seen some big brookies like that down in So, utah in a few lakes but never in streams. When we drove up to Alaska some years ago, we were catching big grayling like that in the river up there, pretty impressive how big they can get in more remote areas.
