Little Dell 9-23
#1
Ran up to Little Dell for a couple of hours to see how the reservoir is looking (oh ya - also took my fly rod...)  Water looks to be down about 20 feet from high water mark. Water temp is much warmer at inlet side (hand test) than dam side. Saw some typical Little Dell midge hatches and surface fish action very limited. Caught a couple, lost a few more. All were caught nymphing. Got to the dam end just in time to witness a helicopter hatch! Didn't have anything tied to match so I wisely moved on. Looking forward to some good fishing in the next couple of months!

PS. What's going on at Mountain Dell reservoir? It looks completely empty. Not sure how the brood stock will survive there with no water!
