Its always that low in the winter. They use that lake for irrigation, so they make sure it is low enough to receive all the melt off and fill it up for irrigation the next summer. I prefer to fish in the winter because the water is so low all the fish are congregated in a smaller area. 

Welcome to the site Terek. That was my first time fishing at LP, so I'm curious, what kind of fish do you usually catch there and which end of the lake do you have your best luck?
