Panguitch 1/30
#1
Fished Panguitch lake between 8:30 and 3 today. Coming from the southwest SR 143 between Brian Head and Panguitch lake was closed, so I had to take the long way around. About 13 inches of ice and a foot of fresh snow. Quite a few snowmobiles and atvs buzzing around the lake. Fishing was fairly slow, but consistent. Caught just shy of 20 trout, about 2:1 rainbows to cutts. About a third of the fish fell into the 16-18inch category. I mainly used a white tube jig and a green ratso. Beautiful warm day to be out.

Nice photos too. Never got down to try it for ice fishing. Sure looks like a good place to sit on my bucket and ponder.
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew
