Weber River 2/25

Finally recovered from Covid enough to hit the water again! Was able to get out and fish the weber river for one hour last night up by devil's slide. Fish were plenty active and willing to play with the smaller nymphs and midges. Near twilight, they starting hitting the surface, but I have almost 0 dry fly experience and was unable to find the right fly in my box. It was plenty cold out there, and I had to clean the ice off of my guides every couple of minutes. As always, it was just good to get out!

Thanks for the report.  Glad you were able to get back on the water.  

That was one of my favorite parts of the Weber to fish.  If the browns weren't interested the white fish were.
