Anybody fish white bass at UL (or other) with the fly rod? Seems like it could be fun, fast action from the float tube.

Yes, but not from a float tube.  I've done it at a few spots/inlets at UL with great success and a lot of fun.  Once I was on shore and buddy was in float tube just 15 ft out from me.  We both nailed quite a few.  He was using spin w/ jig.  Both were equally productive.

If one was to launch a tube to fish White Bass with a fly rod where would good access be found?
