Deer Creek 11-28-20
#1
Two of us fished on Sat. Got in the water about 8am.  Lake was totally fogged in.  Lost sight of ramp in about 200 yards.  I pulled the compass out to get a bearing and off we trolled.
Started catching fish after about 10 min.  It was pretty good catching till about 11 am  then things slowed down.  Picked back up about 12:30 pm.
I rarely count the # of fish we catch so I cannot give a number for sure but it had to be well over 40 fish boated.  I myself landed 3 doubles and lost one fish off another double.
Our son in law started off slow but after he decided to be a copy cat his catching took off.  If I hadn't got the head start I'm purty certain the bugger would have schooled me.  (He LOVES THAT)  I hate it.
Largest fish scaled at 2 lbs 13 oz.
Most all the fish were over the 1 lbs mark
I would estimate about 1 doz. were over 2 lbs.
Best baits were Rapalas and worm harnesses.
Best Rapalas were silver.
Worm harnesses were Smile  blades in green (dang face showed up and can't get it off)  Sad Sad Sad and perch spinning blades.
Worm harnesses were drug behind a flasher.
Fish were caught 15' and shallower.
Trolling speed was 1.8 earlier then bumped up to 2.0 for afternoon.
Was surprised but the fire tiger in perch only caught one fish.

No ice that I saw anywhere.
Looked at water temp. to report but forgot to hit save in my cerebral hard drive. Either that or I can't seem to locate the file in there.
