Boat Trailer Axle Replaced
#1
Hi all , I finally got tired of messing with the Bearing Buddies on my Boat trailer Hubs. I've been looking around for a new Boat trailer Axle for a while  and finally found one . I found it at Bubba's Trailers on 12th Street in Ogden. The axle I wanted has the EZ Lube Spindles , much easier to deal with than the Buddy bearing caps coming off and slinging grease all over everything.  I'm into it about $ 260.00 for a 3500lb axle . The axle was $ 200.00 plus they charged me $ 50.00 to move the Spring Mounts to my measurements . Anyway I'm happy with it.

Sweet. I had a bearing go out on one of my ex boats and It chewed up the spindle. Was cheaper to replace with new axle than have a new spindle welded on.

That's exactly what I' m looking to avoid , so I'm going to have an axle to sell . it's still in great condition , just not what I want.
