Seems to be a catching pattern developing lol another nice king for Greg

Trolling anchovies with a dropper leader and a 3oz weight running about 1.5 to 2.2 mph. We have been out starting around 6:30 each day but it’s definitely an afternoon bite with the tide, just can’t sit in camp lol. We are currently still trolling and it’s 4:30 here

Very nice king, about the same size as last time? You guys are some tough dudes, saying out there that long every day. Does Greg at least split the fish with you if he is doing all the catching?
Mine was 19.2 and his was 16.13 today. Well you have to be there when the bite starts, lots of people in the RV park we’re staying in that are missing it. We split all the fish up, so no matter who has the hot rod on a given day

Nice one Alan, did you fly there? If so you will have to pay some extra $$ to ship all that fish home, if you drove, you must have some nice sized coolers.

Drove and have plenty of coolers with us, the place we stay at has a walk in freezer so we vacuum pack the filets once cut and then freeze

That's a great King, do you have different fisherman on the boat depending on the day?

Greg will fish 3 people max on his boat, the guy who was supposed to be here the 1st 4 days canceled at the last minute, Dave showed up yesterday afternoon and is here through Sunday, then Don (metal mouth on the BFT board from Idaho) shows up Sunday and fishes with us on Monday and Tuesday.

Wow, you guys will need a weeks rest when you get back after doing that much fishing, isn't that like a week straight? Like 8  hours or more per day?

10 days of fishing in 11 days, no driving or launching as the boat is in the water and we’re camped right next to the dock, usually in bed by 8 so we’re getting our rest

Well after the good streak of luck you guys had I guess the skunk was bound to appear sooner or later. By the way, what is the limit per person per day there? Hope today is better for you guys.

You buy a salmon/steelhead card it allow you a total of 20 fish, for the kings anything under 24” is considered a Jack and your allowed 5 per day and don’t have to mark the card. Bigger kings your allowed 2 a day and get marked on the card.

Today the tides were good early and we had some good action, 2 jacks and 2 bigger fish in the bow and another lost

Sounds like a good day and a big crowd, or is that the same crowd you are seeing every day?
