With Obi’s and Eylayo’s help I took my daughter and boyfriend along with 2 of their friends out. Got to the marina around 7:10 and got loaded up and headed out. We went over to the Sage Creek/ Bear Paw area on the east side  and set up in 50’ of water. Fishing wasn’t red hot but everybody got at least 3-4 fish each except Obi who was putting on a clinic ( he can fill in the details). Most were caught right off the bottom with white being the preferred color tipped with meal or crawler pieces. Bent a ski on my smith on the way out which created a lot of drag and when we found the slush got us stuck and the snow dog also, luckily we were close to where we wanted to fish so dropped sleds and made a couple lighter load trips. Did see a couple of ATV’s (close to marina) [and 1 sxs with tracks (came from ladders area) out along with lots of other people, so the slush area wasn’t all over yet. Big thanks to the 2 Shaun’s for a fun day on the hard deck

Great report and pics Alan, looks like your guys had a good day. Did I read that right, you were fishing in only 5 FOW?

LOL, ok, that makes sense, I thought that would be too shallow. That first pic looks like she isn't real happy about holding that cutt.

Oh she was excited, her boyfriend took the pic and he just getting the pic lol. Should also note that was on 1 of Pats trinkets

Nice going Alan, glad to see you guys had a great time. Seeing the dog food on the grill adds a good touch to the days outing. Cool Soon the soft deck should start so I can get out for the fun.

Not sure it will be soon up there, ton of snow in that area but I’m looking forward to the boating season also

Thanks for the invite. Was a fun trip. Your hot lunch was a nice touch, good idea. Tell the friends sorry again for the slush bath. Nature tried to even the score for them though. My face and arms are like jerky today, way too much sun. Should have setup the shack.
