Posting for a friend. He will be going to waheap at Powell through Arizona and wondering if there are any special regulations for taking a boat

When fishing Tournaments in AZ years ago, we used to run afoul of a couple of things in AZ. Number one, no plates on trailers ! Even single axle trailers needed a plate. They also asked for titles when stopped, which of course at that time Utah did not issue titles on boats ( 30 + yrs ago). So don't rely on hearsay, call the DMV in AZ and get the real details !! We got hung up outside of Flagstaff for over 2w hours while a trooper checked Utah regs when we told him no plates and no title on the boats !! He was incredulous !! No ticket issued, but it was a pain!!
