#1
How do I change the appearance of my URL links in my Sig. box to be a different text that is more appealing to the eye but still gets to the appropriate site?

Hey fish1on it's like this:

<a href="http://url_here.com/">text for link</a>

I attached intructions in case it doesn't show in the post. Make sure you don't open it in internet explorer. You need to open it in a text editor like notepad to see how it works, but it's the same as what is show above.

Here's an example:

The HTML in my posts seems to not be working, even though I have it set to use markup OR HTML. If I use the same HTML in a sepate file, it works.

Hmmmm........

the instructions you gave wont work.

what fishon1 has done is copy a link band from the faq page and paisted it in to his signiture.

in order to get a sig file working the way you want you have to follow the mark up rules provided on the faq page.

if you need assistance drop me a pm and I will write the line for you and send it back so that you can copy and paist it in to your sig file.

this goes for any one else on the board who is in need of assistance in creating a sig file.

Under edit profile, user profile, there is a tag for HTML allowed that brings you to a bunch of different resources to use!
