[#c4ac82]Remarks :[/#c4ac82] [#000000]White River: Gaston's White River Resort said the Corps of Engineers is running several generators during the week but none on the weekends. Bait fishermen are using wax worms with Power Eggs and corn. Fly fishermen are having good luck with sow bugs, black leeches, pink jigs and olive, brown or black Woolly Buggers. When the water is high try using Crocodile Spoons or Rapala Husky jerks. McLellan’s Fly Shop said power generation has been running in the morning and again in the evening over the past week, so anglers can find some wadeable water on the lower river in the morning and on the upper river in the afternoon. Nymph fishing in low water with scuds and sow bugs has produced plenty of hookups over the past week. Soft hackles are starting to pick up more and more fish. Midges are working well in the upper river. Some shad are coming through the dam, so be sure to have plenty of white zonkers and Gummy Minnows if you are fishing the first few miles below Bull Shoals Dam. Try dead-drifting the shad imitations under an indicator, or fish them on a sink-tip line with a slow, twitching retrieve. The best flies this week have been olive, tan, and gray McLellan’s Hunchback Scud size 14 to 16, gray and olive McLellan’s Woven V-Rib Sow Bug size 14 to 16, Rainbow Warrior size 18, Mercury Midge size 20 to 22, Micro Eggs (especially orange and Peachy King), Zoo Cougar size 2 to 4, Kiwi Muddler size 4, Wooly Sculpin size 4, Green Butt Bugger size 6, White Zonker and Pearl Gummy Minnow.[/#000000] [#c4ac82]Hatches:[/#c4ac82] [#000000] [ul][/ul][/#000000] [#c4ac82]Patterns[/#c4ac82] [#000000] [ul][/ul][/#000000] [#c4ac82]Fish Species[/#c4ac82] [#000000] [ul][/ul][/#000000] [Image: weather?forecast=hourly&hwvtc=000000...;alt=hwicc]
