[#c4ac82]Remarks :[/#c4ac82] [#000000]North Fork River: Fly-fishing guide John Gulley said fly-fishing is excellent on the high water using pink egg patterns. Rainbows and brown trout in 16 to 22 inch range are being caught. Flies working best on low water are the Crystal Midge size 20 and the olive micro jigs. Spin fishermen are using silver spoons and shad colored lures. Bait fishermen are catching plenty of trout using shad, worms, corn and Power Bait. McLellan’s Fly Shop said there should still be enough shad coming through the dam to interest the trout. During higher water, fish white/silver patterns in various sizes. Try dead drifting with an occasional twitch. At low water, midge patterns are working very well and catching some large trout. Smaller scuds are producing consistently. Hot flies are the orange scuds size 14 to 18, shad patterns size 2 to 10, gray and olive McLellan’s Woven V-Rib Sow Bug size 14 to 16, Jujubee size 20 to 22, Mercury Midges size 20 to 22, BLM size 18 to 20, Micro Eggs, Zoo Cougar size 2 to 4, Kiwi Muddler size 4 and Wooly Sculpin size 4.[/#000000] [#c4ac82]Hatches:[/#c4ac82] [#000000] [ul][/ul][/#000000] [#c4ac82]Patterns[/#c4ac82] [#000000] [ul][/ul][/#000000] [#c4ac82]Fish Species[/#c4ac82] [#000000] [ul] [li]Rainbow [li]Cutthroat [li]German Brown [li]Brook [/li][/ul][/#000000] [Image: weather?forecast=hourly&hwvtc=000000...;alt=hwicc]
