I always thought "low memory" = "limp" or NOT wanting to return to it's original coiliness. Whatever. We used Chameleon in the 70's and it had a rep for strength (still does). I had a foul hooked 6# bonito pull a 16' jonboat all over Redondo harbor on 8# test [shocked] It's probly changed over the years but I don't recall it's being hard to handle. Maybe you overfilled the spool? If you twist the line (line coming off wrong side of spool) while loading the spool you can have problems, too.<br><br>Fishslayer<br><br><br><br>
