South Carolina Anglers Could Earn Cash
#1
[#000000]COLUMBIA, SC—NAFC members who catch a tagged crappie in South Carolina this spring, could cash a $100 check from the state Department of Natural Resources. The DNR is conducting a study on Lake Greenwood's crappie population to determine how natural mortality compares to angler harvest rates.[/#000000]

[#000000]If you catch a tagged fish, call the Greenwood DNR office at: (864) 223-1307. Provide your name, address, telephone number, fishing location and the date you caught the fish, then mail the tag to the Greenwood office to collect the reward. Most tagged fish are worth $5, but some carry a $10, $50 or $100 tag.[/#000000]
