Lake Mojave Report - mile 35 south to mile 32
#1
Saturday, March 27 launched from Aztec Cove and motored south into the coves on the Nevada side to mile 32. Found no largemouths searching either shallow brush, flats, chunk rock banks or brush near steeper banks. No nesting sign either. Tried pitching jigs, t-rigged senko, worms, mojo rig - mostly brown colors. threw 7 to 9 rattling/suspending shadrap above weedbeds in 7 to 15 ft. Finally pulled out to fish secondary points only down to 15 f. and same result. Ended the day fishing primary points to 25 ft. uphill with senkos and mojo rigs. Never flushed a bass. Never graphed anything which could be a bass on structure. Saw one fisherman catching small stripers on the main channel edge. Maybe 6 to 10 bass boats running and gunning in the area till 1:00 pm. Saw no-one boating fish.
