Sturgeon caught last weekend in march

in Oscota last week end a stergeon was caught and released.

this was no odenary sturgeon, this one had a lenth of 6 foot and weighed 160 pounds....

there was only one witness to the fish being caught and released and that was the local game warden who aided in identifying and releasing the stergeon unharned back in to the river.

that would have been something to see , even participate in !!!!

i figure it was there going after the stuff washed out of the river , worms , winter lake kill , spawn .

that , i bet , musta been a record too , a couple hundred pounds of fish cougnt on a light test line .

maybe next weekend [], i'll give it a go .
