Strawberry report 4-2
#1
I went to Strawberry today (marina) to test my new fishfinder and use the ice equipment one last time. The ice had 6-8 inches of slush, and 14-16 inches of hard ice. The edges were still fine. I wore neoprene waders out there, so the slush wasn't much of a nuisance. If I had paid more attention to my technique and less on playing with my new toy the first 2 hours, I would have done better, but I still did pretty well. Landed 7, all cutts, size was good. (two at 22, one 21, and a 20, the rest still in the slot). Missed several other strikes. The best lure was a chartreuse sparkle tube jig tipped with worm. The fish were from 8 ft. to the bottom (25 ft.). The berry will still probably be safe for another 10 days or so, depending on the weather, but Sadly the ice equipment is done for the year for me. Good luck to all this weekend.

Thanks for the report. Glad you could get into some fish. How did the new fishfinder work?
