opening day in the Sierras
#1
Is anybody out there going to the sierras over opening weekend which is the 27th/28th? I have been going up for over 25 years. I used to fish Crowley but now I fish Gull Lake in the June Lake loop. Should be some good fishing.

Hello Sean,
I had some plans that have been moved around a little and it appears I may be able to make it up to the Sieras, but have made no plans or accomodations, any ideas how to make all this happen on this short of notice? Also where would you suggest I fish? I'm thinking about even pitching a tent?

Any ideas you can offer would be greatly apreciated!

[laugh] How about a good laugh?
http://www.bigfishtackle.com/comics.htm

Mike H

Mike: Might I suggest that you pitch your tent in the Outdoorsman Motel, it gets really, really cold in the Sierras. Also historically, it has snowed many times on some past openers. PS your rod is under way. George

George Van Zant
http://www.bigfishtackle.com/georgescorner.htm
Mike, I caught a 4# rainbow at Gull lake which is in the June Lake Loop. We had 46 guys in a private tourny and my fish took the prize. Sorry I did not get back to you but I took off Thurs morn.
