Thanks for the tip. I've had hooks lodge themselves in me before. I actually walked around my apartment dragging my comforter around with me because I had no choice. Somehow a hook ended up stuck in my comforter and eventually it hooked into my leg.

It wasn't a fun experience. I wish I would have had some hook-safe's to store my hooks in.

yes they are very handy and i got a few of them now to keep them out of me when the kids go fishing

That sounds familiar. When I was a teenager, we went on a scout backpacking trip to some high mountain lakes. One friend of mine ended up snagging a fly in his shoelace. It was in so tight that he just left it there. The week after we came home, he was over at my house and sat down on the couch and put his foot up on his leg. He snagged that hook so deep into his leg that we had to cut his shoelace, then his stepdad came over and pushed it through, cut off the barb and pulled it back out. Never seen a 15 yr. old cry so hard.
