Lake Canadice and Hemlock

I'd really like to do some fishing on either Hemlock or Canadice lake. I know the rules and regs for the lake and have done some unsuccessful shore fishing (small trout and sunnies). Where do I find the big fish? I'm not particular, I like pretty much anything that swims and will bite a hook. In reality, they don't have to be all that big either, just big enough to eat.
