Maine Begins Trout Stocking

In addition, an ambitious stocking program this past fall means hundreds of thousands of trout and salmon are already in waterways around the state.[/size][/#000000][/font]

[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][#000000][size 2]Some York County streams have already been stocked this spring, and more stockings are planned for Oxford and Cumberland County. When spring stocking has concluded, biologists will have placed trout and salmon in more than 700 ponds, lakes and rivers around the state.
