Yep, I got ole' tom! However, not how I expected to. The crazy feller ran into the side of my wifes car nearly causing her to go into arythmia. He took the right side mirror off and believe it or not, stopped looked at the car for a minute and took off again. I looked for a few minutes but never did find the dude.
Ah well, I'm looking forward to getting my first shotgun tom soon!!!

they sure are tuff !
on my first hunt , i thought i got him good but he got up and started running . i lit off after him as fast as i could go . as soon as i got close he went airborne with me still in hot persuit . every now and then i mannaged another shot off , without luck .
after a mile or two into "god knows where", i paused and thought to myself " what the heck are you doing al ?"
that bird was playing around with this city boy making a big fool of him .
that first hunt , tom won ! i learned to be a little more patient before discharging the gun . old tom has to be in mighty close .
