Lees Ferry
#1
River Level: 9,500 cfs. Weekends. Weekdays will be high at 17,500 cfs. Water temperature 49.5 degrees.

Weather has been great. Highs in the 50's during the day - am - 20-30's. Sunny and almost spring like.

It has picked up considerably for the 'nymphers'. Dry fly action is good-excellent. The black & gold zebra is doing well early mornings in shaded areas. As water rises, move to bigger flys, buggers and such. On the drys, 18-22 griffiths gnat behind a #16 royal wuff or behind a white humpy is working well. Some big fish 22+ still being caught deep with sinking line stripping streamers, black & brown wooley buggers. For quality fish, look for runs off back eddys.

Don't forget to book 'early' for Spring Stripers on the Fly Rod at Lake Powell. We can set the bite for you and if you want to tube it or Florida style from one of our 3 Lake Boats, we have the flys and we know our quarry. You won't believe the high speed runs these fish are capable of.

Gift Certificates available for that Special Angler
Lees Ferry ~ Lake Powell.

Report brought to you by:

Bill McBurney
AmbasSador Guide Services, Inc.
www.ambasSadorguides.com
800.256.7596
judyf@ambasSadorguides.com
