downriggers offshore in the carribean

Very few anglers use downriggers around here, but I have been lucky enough to fish with a few that do, and we have enjoyed great success on Wahoo, Tuna, and Bull Dorado. I just bought one for my boat, and can't wait to get out there and use it. I learned the basics from my friends, but I would really appreciate any tips or advice from others more knowledgable than I. Thank you and "Tight Lines". Chris (call sign Predator)

Hey there PRpredator,

No suggestions but a welcome aboard.
When I saw the species you were talking about I thought you were talking about Baja... Cabo and the East Cape!
