NOTE ERRORS ON ELK PAPER APPLICATION
PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota’s 2004 elk applications are available, and Game, Fish and Parks officials are advising applicants to note some errors on the hardcopy version. The errors to note include: [ul] [li]The deadline for Custer State Park antlerless elk printed on the front of the application reads May 28. The correct deadline is May 14. The correct deadline is printed on the inside page that contains the specific CSP Antlerless Elk information. [/li][/ul] [ul] [li]On the inside page with specific information on archery elk, there are two errors. The map for archery elk contains incorrect unit designations. The units are correctly described in text form for each unit. Those interested in a corrected map for this season should check the application on the website at [/font][url "http://www.sdgfp.info/"][font "Arial"][#0000ff]www.sdgfp.info[/#0000ff][/font][/url][font "Arial"] or contact the GFP Information Office at 773-3485.
