Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley
#1
Largemouth fishing is good. The fish are in the buckbrush. Most are being caught by flipping Texas rigged worms. They are holding very tight in the brush. Crappie are slow but some have been caught over brush in 12' to 15' of water. Mepps Aglia Long are catching the fish that are suspended over the brush. 0 or 1 blades are the better size. Whitebass are scatted but are beginning to show up on the flats. Bluegill and shellcrackers are along the normal shoreline. Crickets and night crawlers are working well. Fishing is good.

TIP: When the lake levels are high, as now don't forget the normal shoreline. Fish like to hold along this line of brush.

BITS AND PIECES: "IF" is a really powerful word.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
