Chilliwack Lake is a nice relaxing day adventure with some great scenery and good fishing. This sometimes overlooked spot produces Bull Trout and Dolly Varden up to 20 lbs. In the summer we have fished Chilliwack Lake and seen schools of 5000 and more Kokanee in one area. Most of these species are quite easily caught and can be a lot of fun for all anglers. In August the Sockeye Salmon return to Dolly Varden Creek to spawn. Two years ago there was a return of approximately 25,000 Sockeye and it was a magnificent sight to see all the beautiful fish in spawning colors.
