Tempura Shrimp

[ul] [li]12 large shrimps [li]1 egg [li]1 cup all purpose flour [li]1/2 cup cold water with some ice. [li]Vegetable oil for frying[/li][/ul]How to Cook:
[ol] [li]Peel and devein shrimps. (leave the tails) [li]Make some cuts in the stomach side of shrimps to prevent them to curl up when cooked. [li]Dry shrimps with paper towels. [li]Put flour in a bowl [li]Pour cold water over the flour and add an egg. [li]Mix the batter lightly. [li]Heat the oil to 350 degree. [li]Dip the shrimps in the batter. [li]Deep-fry the shrimps for a few min. [/li][/ol]*Makes 4 servings
**Be sure to use very cold water.
*** Do not overmix the batter.
