CONCORD, N.H. -- Last call for 2004 New Hampshire moose hunters! You only have until May 28 to get your application in for this year's hunt. Entering this year is especially important because it will improve your chances of winning in future years -- starting with the 2004 lottery, you now build up points with each consecutive year you apply.

To date, just over 9,000 people have submitted their applications for this year's lottery.
Winners will be drawn during a computer-generated lottery on Friday, June 18. To be eligible, applications must be postmarked no later than May 28, or received at N.H. Fish and Game, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord NH 03301 no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, May 28. Online applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. EST on May 28. Applicants must be 16 years old by May 28. Lottery winners will be offered a moose-hunting permit to hunt in this year's moose season, which will be October 16-24.
