Tickets still available for first lifetime fishing and hunting privileges drawing on June 1
#1
OLYMPIA - Time is running out to buy tickets for a June 1 drawing in which two people will win lifetime fishing and hunting privileges from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW).

Throughout the 2004-05 licensing season, a total of eight names will be selected at random in a total of four drawings, said Frank Hawley, WDFW licensing manager. Additional drawings are scheduled for Sept. 30, Dec. 30 and March 31, 2005.

Tickets are $6.50 each for state residents, $12.50 each for non-residents, and can be purchased in unlimited numbers. Tickets are valid for all drawings held within one year of purchase. Participants do not need to hold a current fishing or hunting license to be eligible for the lifetime privileges.

The first two winners will be announced within one week of the June 1 drawing, following confirmation of the winners' identity. Winners can transfer their lifetime license privileges to another person at the time it is claimed. Winners must renew the lifetime license each year, but at no cost.

Tickets can be purchased over the phone (1-866-246-9453), or on WDFW's licensing website, [#0000ff]http://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/[/#0000ff].
