Cherry Grove: Dolphin have been reported in 100 to 400 feet of water. Areas of activity include the Winyah Scarf, the 600 line and Blackjack Hole. Blackjack Hole is also producing wahoo and a few yellowfin tuna. Troll with ballyhoo. Several nice king mackerel have also been reported

Murrells Inlet: Spadefish are biting well. A large 8-pound, 8-ounce spadefish was landed this week. Yellowfin tuna, dolphin, wahoo and king mackerel have been reported 60 miles out. Troll with ballyhoo. King mackerel are also being caught 20 miles out. Bottom fishing is excellent producing nice black sea bass, amberjack, snapper and grouper. Several large triggerfish have been caught as well. Use cigar minnows.

Charleston Area: Wahoo fishing is outstanding. Most are in the 40-60 pound range. Use deep diving Cedar or Rapala plugs. Dolphin fishing (mahi-mahi) is great, but most are small in size. Troll using ballyhoo. Many dolphin are being caught in 100 to 150 feet of water. Some small sea bass were reported at the Charleston 60-hole. Tuna fishing has been poor with only sporadic catches.

Edisto River/St. Helena Sound: Dolphin (mahi-mahi) fishing has been great trolling with ballyhoo. Several wahoo and a few tuna have been reported. A few Spanish mackerel are being caught using Gotcha plugs. Sea bass are also being taken over reefs using cigar minnows and cut bait.

Beaufort Area: Several dolphin (mahi-mahi) and wahoo were reported at the Deli, 65 miles out. Troll with skirted ballyhoo. Several large King mackerel were also reported.
