Lewis River
#1
The Chinook bite has been slow but steady, The past couple days have produced many am and pm Steelhead bites. Eggs, Sandshrimp, and Jigs suspended beneath bobbers doing very well. 10 to 14lb ers are common with occassional 18 to 20+ being taken. WSDF has opened the Meat Hole to BOATS today Making the entire river below Colvin Creek open. the head waters above Colvin Creek to Dam still remain CLOSED waters to BOAT Anglers. The Chinook Bite has been hit and miss, Boaters still working key areas with cut plug herring, Kwikfish is the K-14 size w/sardine wrap, Sandshrimp, and Eggs. Many under 12lbs, but should see the high teens and 20 to 30+ again soon. Will fish the Kalama River tommorrow morn. for Nooks and Metalheads, Wish me luck.

Gamakatsu <*(((>{
