Crappie are scattered and being caught along with the white bass. White bass fishing is good at night under lights near the bridge on Hwy 12 using minnows, small jigs and small shad. Bass fishing is fair around the rocky points using spinner baits, top water baits, spooks and football head jigs. Stripers are being caught on the big end of the lake near Lost Bridges using top water baits or spooks. Catfishing is good in the rocky areas with live bait on trotlines and limb lines. Hickory Creek Marina said trotlines and limb lines baited with chicken guts or liver, bream or large minnows are catching some really large fish.
