The striper fishing this last week has been very good at times. We are catching numbers of 4 to 9 lbs stripers with 18 caught in one afternoon. The larger fish are also hitting with 8 caught this week between 10 and 14 lbs. We have been fishing live shad off the river chanel in 28 to 32 feet of water in the Minooka park area.
