five points or better a bust says dnr
#1
clare , mi had a experimental area set up as a five points or better on one side for their deer hunting for the last 4 or 5 years .

the results from surveys and data collected revealed that the antler groth for the deer heard had little or no visible improvement at all . a 1/8" diameter increase was about the only improvement they mentioned in the artical i read .

that meens they will be droping the once proposed point limit for future hunts [cool] .

i'm sure the dnr will have a press release on there site soon .

hey maybe they will try the five point or better on one side program for doe's[Tongue]

I have seen some masive horns on doe's 12-14 points.....

I remember the first antlered doe taken back in the 60's or very early 70's and the man did not have a doe permit.

the poor sole had to go to cort over the thing... the following year we did not hunt bucks or doe's we hunted antlered and antlerless deer....[laugh]
