The lake levels are back down to normal summer pool. When current is running the whitebass are hitting good. Mepps #4 Aglia are the best baits. They are jumping early and late close to the shorelines with deeper water. Largemouth are good on the shallow drop-offs at the mouths of the bays. Deep crankbaits and Carolina rigged plastic baits are the best. Bluegill and catfish are finishing their spawns and are still hitting good, Bluegill are hitting crickets and worms, Catfish are being caught on nightcrawlers and shrimp.
