Big Sandy Crappie Report April 12 - 15 2001
#1
THE SPAWN IS HERE on Kentucky Lake Big Sandy!
The lake level is 358.6, the surface temperature is 62 to 72, and the crappie have starting to spawn and move into the shallows. Took my Father out Friday with a total of 40 with 8 over 2 pounds. Thursday was even better with 61 All fish were caught on TeeZur Jigs trolling shallow water 2 to 4 foot deep with the baits around 2 foot deep and 7 to 9 foot of water with baits around 6 foot. The best baits were 1/8oz The Green Monster 3/32oz TeeZur hothead yellow/chart with a purple/chart skirt. The crappie are being caught all over the lake right now so this would be a good time to get out and enjoy the KY Lake Slabs so Take kids and get the poles in the water Now is the time for the big slabs.

Charles KYLCRAPPIE

KYLCRAPPIE@HOTMAIL.COM
teezur@hotmail.com
