Chevron Lake Fishing Report
#1
June 13th 2004

Count 16 fish totall over twenty inchs each. All Rainbows. This lake does hold some large browns as well none seen.

Fish around the river mouth. Stay in cove area not past the rock cliff on left.

Best lure - Gold lade rooster tails Brown and white bodies with black spots.

Red sonic rooster gold blade.

Chartruse super dupper.

Arrived at 8:30am wearther chilly warmed up fast T shirt weather. wind picked up at around 11:00left by 12:00pm.

Hitting spinners at about five to six feet down. Some hit actually on the drop.

Great float tubing. No acess for motors. There were five other tubers out there.

This is a great lake if you dont mind a ten minuet hike.

No services provided at lake. Back country fire roads, so truck or van is best. 4x4 is not needed unless it is rainy.
