fluke on the rise

went fluke fishing in long island sound,started out with very flat water,foggywe went out northwest of new london lighthouse.we made a couple of drifts ended up with one 15 inch fluke.then went over to mistic,made a half a dozen drfts,nothing.we finished the day in front of ocean beach.where we ended up with 2 keepers a 19 and a20 1/2 inch seven shorts and a skate.pics will come soon of the keepers. hopefully it will only get better[]

Glad to see you didn't come up short on some take home meat. Must have got rough after noon, it was inland. I'm still waiting on the crabs to come home. My partner went to Wyassup and anything he threw in worked. 14 Sm.&Lg. mouth caught, but nothing over 14". Poor guy.[]
