Bantam Lake

Headed out to Bantam Lake on the report by Bigoutdoors and found that the bite was on.Ctbob and I got close to 20 smmouth,lgmouth,and pickeral.Action picked up around 11:30 and continued till we left at 4:00.Purple slugos and black with red brush hogs seemed to work the best sat.Water skiers stayed away from the guys and all action seemed to be at the north end of the lake.Fish where found in the pads at 1-2ft of water.Missed a big one in the weeds when it took a brushhog.[]We'll be back to this one again.
