June's heat wave really super charged the aquatic
insects on the local lakes, reports Lewis Johnson, The Chronic
Flyfisher. The food groups were hatching in prolific numbers that
created a smorgasboard for the trout. Bruce Morris from First
Cast Guiding reports from Takla Lake, and says fishing from
surface to 100 ft. has been producing some nice size lakers and
rainbows. Wayne Koftinoff from Finger Lake Wilderness Resort
reports on Lavoie Lake, Rum Cache/Cicuta, Lucas Lake and Hobson
Lake. Blair Moffat from Northern Hardware says the Stellako River
opened June 1, but fishing is a little slow. Also from Northern
Hardware, Miles Krisko reports of great fishing from Trembleur
Lake. "They're catching some eight, nine, twelve pounders." More.

Welcome to bigfishtackle

hope you will take a moment to register, it is free. and we have a great bunch of anglers here...

the info you were looking at is well over a year old. I can tell you that at this time of year you will be looking at late steal head & trout, late bass action, you should be thinking about Ice Fishing season. it will be a matter of weeks now before ice sets in up that way.

I havent received an email from up that way in some time now.

if you have a spicific question please ask, we do have people here who may be able to help. or I might be able to dig up a fresh report from one of the local resorts...
