au sable report
#1
the report , smallmouth and an ocasional large walleye at the footesite , five chanels dam has loads of "big smallmouth " if you go to the good spot the baitstore guy tells you to hit . zip zero nadda at the pierhead , a wide variety of fish at the alcona dam , but read your trout stream regulations first before fishing it . alcona pond is pretty good fishing for everything , all the area baitstores are out of leaches thou , bring your own . flyfishing on the au sable is improving for those who put in the effort to find a good early morning or late evening secluded hole to hit . if your fishing anywhere near a parking lot , forget it . those browns don't get that big waiting for a bubba to plop down and feed them !
