[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3][/size][/font]Anglers continued to be successful landing stocked rainbow trout. The fish were taken with an assortment of baits. Early mornings and evenings continued to be the best time to catch fish.[/indent]

Fishing pressure has not been very heavy. Some rainbow and a few brown trout were taken with night crawlers and PowerBait. The water level is still low.[/indent]

[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3]Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) creel census clerks said that boaters continued to be successful catching largemouth and striped bass in the lake’s Overton Arm.
Anglers have been enjoying good fishing near Stewart’s Point with stripers ranging from 1 – 3 pounds that are being taken with anchovies.[/size][/font]
[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3]Largemouth bass that ranged from 2 – 3 pounds continue to be caught near the islands in Echo Bay. A few smallmouth bass were reportedly caught and released as well. The fish averaged 12 inches. Black plastic worms were taking the fish.[/size][/font]
[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3]Boaters reported a few largemouth bass were taken near St. Thomas with top-water lures.[/size][/font]
[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3]A pair of boaters who were fishing on Monday (7/19/04) near the 33 Hole in the Boulder Basin told NDOW they had no trouble catching stripers that ranged from 8 - 10 inches. The fish were feeding on shad on the lake’s surface.[/size][/font]
[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3]An angler who was fishing near Temple Bar over the weekend said he caught and released a dozen smallmouth bass, along with several largemouth bass. He did not see any striper boils in that part of the lake.[/size][/font]
Channel catfish are biting throughout the lake and anglers are taking the fish with anchovies and shrimp.
Due to the extreme heat, most fishing is taking place in the early mornings and late at night.[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][size 3] [/size][/font][/indent]

Anglers fishing Willow Beach reported good success following the rainbow trout stocking. The fish averaged 12 inches and were taken with an assortment of bait. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is scheduled to stock again Friday (07/23/04).
Cottonwood Cove anglers reported good success for small striped bass. One couple caught 90 fish, all of which were 2 pounds or less.[/indent]

Daniel Maes, assistant installation manager, said that the winds were not as bad as the previous week so there were more fishing opportunities.
Anglers said that fishing was good on both Haymeadow and Cold Springs reservoirs. Rainbow trout up to 17 inches are being caught with PowerBait and night crawlers. Largemouth bass are being caught with crank baits and rubber worms.
Shore anglers are advised that weeds in Haymeadow Reservoir are becoming more prevalent and have begun to make fishing difficult.
Daytime temperatures were in the low 80s and the night temperature has dropped to the high 50s.

Anglers continued to catch catfish at Floyd Lamb State Park, Lorenzi Park, Sunset Park and Veterans Memorial Park in Boulder City. The fish were taken with an assortment of baits.[/indent]

yes, i hear theres bluegills and catfish in there, willing and able

theres a fee to get in, but one of our members goes there alot, maybe he'll chime in
