Personal protection while fishing?

Has it come to that? Having to carry some kind of protection from certain skiers and boaters? Read this story and you might be saying yes!!! http://www.wnep.com/Global/story.asp?S=2153566

[black]I had Weber County Sheriff issue citation to two guys last fall after they went across my line when troll. They where going in circle around are boat about 100’ away, they went directly behind us and hit my line causing it to come off my spool. I call the Sheriff form the boat on my mobile. They sent out an alert for the boat and had a deputy at both boat ramps to wait for them to load. I followed them in and made a report. I ended up going to court to testify. It was funny to listen to the guy try to tell the judge they where not to close. My brother-in-law and I got around $50.00 each for having to be witness in court. They lost and had to pay around $150.00 is fines.[/black]

Cool story Paul. As fun as it would be to club those people like a baby seal, you did the right thing. I'm glad someone finally got busted for breaking that 150' law. It seems like it is so rarely enforced.
