Hunting Atlas And Partial Hunting Handbook Available Online

Also available is a partial copy of the [/size][size 2]2004 Hunting Handbook.[/size]
[size 2]"South Dakota’s hunting atlas and hunting handbook supplement can be viewed and/or printed from the GFP website by looking under the subheading ‘What’s New’," said Walk-In Area Program Coordinator Bill Smith. "The online publications are in pdf format, so Adobe Acrobat software is needed to open the files." Adobe Acrobat is available for free from the GFP website by clicking on the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon found in many places on the department’s website.[/size]
[size 2]Hardcopies of the publications will be available around Sept. 1, and those interested can get on a mailing list by visiting online at the address above, hold their cursor over the subheading "Conservation Digest/Publications" and then click on the link "Request Information."[/size]
[size 2]The South Dakota Hunting Atlas is a consolidated brochure of maps that display Walk-In Areas, state Game Production Areas (GPAs), federal Waterfowl Production Areas (WPAs), South Dakota School and Public Lands, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) properties, National Forest, National Parks, National Grasslands, and several Bureau of Reclamation properties.[/size]
