Lake Enterprise: Fred's Sport Shop said the water is clear, and the lake is at a good level. The water temperature has cooled some. Bluegill are excellent on crickets. Some good-size bluegills are being taken off or near the bank. A few bass are being picked up using plastic worms. Catfish are good using a rod and reel baited with night crawlers or cut bait. Lake Chicot: Koenig’s Bass Tracker Marine said catfish are picking up on worms, stink bait and cut shad.
Mississippi River: Koenig’s Bass Tracker Marine said the water clarity is fair and the river is high. However, the river level has started to fall. The current is too strong for bream, crappie and bass. Catfish are excellent on shad and live bait.
